An Interview Study of Native Chinese-speaking English as a Foreign Language University Students Experience of Acquiring English Pronunciation

The purpose of the study has been to investigate the non-English-major Chinese EFL learners' experience of acquiring English pronunciation. Three research questions were addressed: (1) How do the learners report that their teachers have taught them English pronunciation? (2) How do the learners perceive the role of the learning context in shaping their English pronunciation? (3) What kind of learning strategies do these learners report using to develop English pronunciation?
